OK so I know it's been absolutely AGES since I put anything on here, but I've had to do a card for my brother's upcoming 40th birthday, and I needed some inspiration ...
so I opted for the BasicGrey Challenges which is Embossing as their challenge. While I was embossing a piece of BG grey sanded I managed to miss a strip down the side which I then covered over using a couple of pieces of ribbon, so what better 2nd challenge than the Stamp With Us challenge which is to use no patterened paper, 2 ribbons and 2 stamps. I cut out the "40" from some mount board, and then used 2 SU stamps - In the stars, the star and "a wish for you". I then utee'd the 40.

Inks used: silver
Colouring method: n/a
Cardstock used: BasicGrey and misc
Other Embellishments: star brads
Tools: Bigshot and alphabet dies
What a fabulous card. I bet your brother will love it. Don't leave it so long next time !!
