Penny Black and Sketch Saturday challenges
Here's a card that I've just finished (started it on monday)! It's for two challenges - Sketch Saturday which is another great sketch, and also Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is "Frame It". I tried to make a frame using my nesties, by mounting the patterned paper onto card and then putting the image behind. Not sure if all that effort has made it look any different than using nesties in the normal way, but hey, I tried!
Stamps used: Penny Black
Inks used: Brown Stazon
Colouring method: prisma pencils and sansodor
Cardstock used: orange wallpaper and some paper, maybe mm??
Tools used: nesties, 5 flower punch, paisly cuttlebug dies, Stampin Up scallop edge punch and crop-a-dile to make the holes
Other Embellishments: ribbon, gems

So here's an unusual form of tagging, it's been passed on to me by Steph. Right, so here are the rules : The instructions are to go to where you keep your photos on your PC, choose the 6th folder, then the 6th picture.....post on your blog and explain.
So here's my picture - it's a really old plan of the land around the house that we now live in showing the land when it was split up for sale back in 1924!!
Now - the five that I choose to pass this on to are:
Lauren,
Heather,
Lainy,
Deena and
Bridgett.

mounted grab bag!
here's a pic of a grab bag of 100 unmounted stamps that I bought from hampton on ebay, and I decided to mount them all on wood ...
(it took me ages!)
and here's a pic of my new nestie storage solution (which I'm really pleased with!!!)... they are basically magnetic knife holders that I bought from Range for £4.99 each. It's SO easy to see exactly which one I need, and I'm not tempted to leave them lying around to get lost - the best £10 I've spent in ages!
and here are some more pics of my craft room that I thought I'd share with you, including a fantastic cupboard that my hubby found and bought home for me - with two sliding drawers that I have all my paper and cardstock filed in (in colours)!! and more shelves for other stuff - as you can see!!

Basic Grey Chipboard challenge
I've made this card for the BasicGrey Challenges which this week is to use chipboard. I used this flower shape from the Stampin' Up set of chipboard, and covered it with BG paper (I think it's stella ruby, or sugared, not sure). It also gave me the perfect opportunity to use my new set of precision files - they are absolutely brilliant, and this is why I've not used the chipboard shapes much before!
Check out my blog candy below...

stuff I've made!
Here's a really quick card that I've just managed to make - took me all of about 15 mins, and it shows, sorry! I've made it for a couple of challenges - Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is "embossing" (the 3 flower/things on lhs are embossed), and the Daring Cardmakers which is "thanks". You can tell I still haven't got the cutter issue sorted - all my stuff is being cut wonky still!!! and it's being stuck on wonky, too, but that's because it's soooooo COLD in my craft room!! (excuses, excuses!!!)
Stamps used: Penny Black
Inks used: Stazon, Stampin' Up Aubergine
Colouring method: watercolours - pencils and a bit of sakura stardust pens
Cardstock used: Basic Grey
And here are some other things that I made while watching tv last night!!
