It's been so long since I entered a challenge, but I've got (I think), my mojo back, well it's on its way!! So I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and the challenge from Penny Black Saturday Challenge to come up with this card. It's been so long that I can only just remember how to link it all in this post, too!!

3 challenges, 4 cards!
I used the sketch from Papertake Weekly to make this card,
and the sketch from Sketch Saturday and the challenge from Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which is Embossing.

I also made this card in an attempt to make a 40th card (in fact all of these started life as a 40th card, but I just couldn't get them right...)
but this is the one I ended up turning into a 40th using the Just Beachy stamps from SU!

Sketch Saturday
After seeing the sketch on this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge, I just had to have a go, although I think I have done it around the wrong way!! I couldn't wait to start using my new stamps from Stampin' Up, and these cards are what I came up with. I've started to make 2 of each card now - so that when I use one, I still have one to keep! (How sad am I!!?)
Stampers 5 Club...
I'm making a last ditch attempt to keep my demonstrator status... so here goes... If you would like to join my Stampers 5 club, I am hoping to get 5 people to each spend £30 (plus postage) per month for 5 months, and then in return for this commitment, you will each take in turns to one month receive the hostess gift of a free stamp set plus £15 of free Stampin' Up items.
If you'd like to join this, please email me - jennyraynor@tiscali.co.uk (put Stampin' Up in the title line). If I don't get enough people interested then I'll just give it up!! Aaaah! so please take pity on me!!!

Well, I finally managed to get into my craft room - my Crafty Creations DT duties finally got the better of me, so thought it best to make an entry for this weeks challenge which is "Purple". I also used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.
I've also made this wire ring ...
for this fortnights Jewellery Challenge, which unfortunately is also the last one for this blog due to poor takers of challenges - ahhh, sad - I'll miss it! So click on the link and post your entry - let's try and keep the jewellery challenge blog going...
and finally, a bracelet that I made this morning that I thought I'd share with you...
Hope you like!

They are both based on a card I made a while ago but my mum keeps threatening to take it and send, and I won't let her because I like it so much, so she's asked me to make a batch of similar design cards for her, so here's my first two!

Sketch Saturday
Wow - I've found out about a technique that I just LOVE - it's stamping on tissue paper (with stazon) - I used a very pale blue, then scrunching it up and sticking it onto a piece of cardstock to give a textured effect. Although this is my first attempt, and I'm not overly pleased with my colouring, I think the effect is brilliant, and am sure to be doing this again in the very near future!! Oh, and I made this for todays Sketch Saturday sketch!
Stamps used: summer by the sea (Stampin' Up)
Inks used: stazon, markers
Cardstock used: Stampin' Up dp
Other Embellishments: SU ribbon

I've made this card for today's Sketch Saturday Challenge. I'm determined to get some crafting done today, and I'm quite pleased with this first effort. Next job is to go and have a good sort out of my craft room - it's shamefully been a bit neglected over the past couple of weeks, so now I'm off to sort it out...

Basic Grey & Sketch Saturday Challenges and TLC207
I had a card in mind when I made this one - I was going to send it to a friend's son, but now it's made, I don't think it's really suitable for a young-un!! Anyway, I used the sketch from the Sketch Saturday Challenge, and used the challenge from BasicGrey Challenges which is to use two different ranges of their papers - I used Strawberry Jam - Lollipop Shoppe and the Sugared papers. Hope I've interpreted their challenge correctly! I also incorporated todays Splitcoast Challenge TLC207 which is "cut it out" which is exactly what I've done with my latest buy from Stampin' Up - Loads of Love (and accessories) - great set, wish I'd bought it ages ago! I was going to add some more detail to the card, but decided not to if it was going to be for a boy, but now it isn't, I might go and tart it up a bit!!
Stamps used: Loads of Love Stampin' Up
Inks used: brown stazon
Colouring method: n/a
Cardstock used: basicgrey
Other Embellishments: eyelets
Tools: crop-a-dile, guillotine, creative memories circles
Just thought I'd share this with you all, too - my little boy obviously enjoyed the snow, and wanted to replicate the scene in our utility room!! I dread to think what will happen if there's flooding next!!!

Penny Black and Sketch Saturday challenges
Here's a card that I've just finished (started it on monday)! It's for two challenges - Sketch Saturday which is another great sketch, and also Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is "Frame It". I tried to make a frame using my nesties, by mounting the patterned paper onto card and then putting the image behind. Not sure if all that effort has made it look any different than using nesties in the normal way, but hey, I tried!
Stamps used: Penny Black
Inks used: Brown Stazon
Colouring method: prisma pencils and sansodor
Cardstock used: orange wallpaper and some paper, maybe mm??
Tools used: nesties, 5 flower punch, paisly cuttlebug dies, Stampin Up scallop edge punch and crop-a-dile to make the holes
Other Embellishments: ribbon, gems
