Penny Black & Forever Friends Challenges
I've made these magnetic notebooks with pens for two challenges - the Forever Friends Challenge is to make a gift, and the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is "spring". The only thing missing off them is my stamped sentiment "just a note", which I'm really annoyed about because I can't find it anywhere!! I covered some notebooks, used some coasters that I ran through my xyron magnetic laminate machine, so they can be stuck on the fridge, or wherever!!
Cupcake Craft Challenge - my last DT entry!
Here's my last ever DT make for Cupcake Craft Challenges. It's a great sketch, and I've made it especially for the challenge - because I really will miss it!!
Stamps used: dog
Inks used: close to cocoa Stampin' Up
Colouring method: coloured using close to cocoa stamp pad and aqua brush
Cardstock used: cosmo cricket
Other Embellishments: wild asparagus ribbon, misc brads
Tools: nesties, creative memories circle cutters

Blog Candy with a difference!
THIS WILL STAY AT THE TOP UNTIL I HAVE FIVE NAMES ON THE LIST!!
SCROLL DOWN FOR CARDS I HAVE DONE.
This is a great Candy Idea, I found it when visiting Lorraine's Loft, and then had to follow it to Hazel at Dido's Designs! Check out their blogs - they both have some wonderful creations. So here we go with the Candy!
The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something made by me - my choice!
(I may include a few other items (not homemade), too).
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done sometime this year (I will aim to get it done in the next couple of weeks or so).
4. You have no clue what it's going to be.
5. The catch? Oh, the catch is you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog (then come here and post) The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a handmade gift by me. Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
New point - 6. The first person on your list must be the person who's list you left your name on!!
SO what are you waiting for...................who will be the first 5 people????
1. Hazel, Dido's Designs,
2. Kimberly, Seastar Creations,
3. Carlyann, Carlz Cardz,
4. Angie Easter,
5. Maria.
Leave a comment below and email me your address so I can get your candy out! jennyraynor@tiscali.co.uk. Now don't you think this is a great idea!!

I couldn't resist the temptation of this weeks Caardvarks challenge which is "Did you ever know that you're my Hero Arts?" - I also couldn't resist buying the japanese doll stamp set from hero arts the other week, and this was the perfect opportunity to give them their first outing!! The challenge is actually a fab sketch, and there are some great stamps to be won!! Sorry, it's a bit rushed (yet again), got to get out for a run!

Guillotine/Cutter Dilemma - Candy up for grabs!
I have a dilemma - I have a trusty old guilotine/rotary cutter that I love, and use all the time. However, it's getting tired, and is VERY squeaky, so I thought I'd treat myself to a new one, seeing as it's crimbo!!
So, I went out and bought myself a sparkly new Purple Cows 2 in 1 trimmer, got it home, and then found that it fills half my workspace. I can't get an accurate cut with it, and while in the middle of making a card, decided to go back to my trusty old squeaky cutter.
So the Purple cows one is going to go back to the shop, but I want some help - what do you guys all use? What would you recommend? I'm going to give some candy (brads, stickers, chipboard, papers etc, see pic) to the person who leaves the most helpful comment!!! Please spread the word - I want as much help as I can get! (Please link this on your blog so more people can help me out too!)

Two quick cards from me today. I was so excited - I received my new lots of Stampin' Up goodies fresh from their new mini catalogue, so just wanted to have a go with it all really!! The first card has been made for the for the Cupcake Craft Challenges and also the Papertake Weekly challenge which is a great sketch by Dawny. I used my new tea party designer series paper, along with the Just Beachy stamp set, and I also used my new oval and scallop oval punches. The second card, which I rushed so didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, is for the SC219 challenge over on SCS, and I used the tea party papers again with my new doily lace edge punch, the Playful Petals stamp set along with a butterfly from the SU chipboard pack (that's on 25% discount at the moment!!), covered again in some tea party paper!
If you want a Stampin' Up catalogue, scroll down to see my special offer with sample pack.

Wow, it's been ages since I took part in the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge. It was one of the fist ones I ever took part in! Anyway, I've made this card using their fab sketch, and the optional extra was to use stitching, so I braved my sewing machine (dusted if off!!), and added some. I used my new Golden Oldies set from the Stampin' Up mini-catalogue, and my new fave punches - the oval and scalloped oval.

more stuff I've made!
I can't believe the snow came back on thursday - this was the view from our window on thursday morning...
We've been busy today - I bought a muffin book the other day (I've never made one before), and this book is just EXCELLENT! We made apricot and marzipan muffins, then they were so scrummy we then decided to make banoffee ones too. They were so nice, and we made so many that we decided to take some to our next door neighbour who's been a bit under the weather this week. She was so pleased - said it made her day, it was so nice to share the yummy muffins around! There are so many gorgeous recipes in this book - well worth getting!!! The only thing I'm lacking is a muffin tin and cases, so had to use ordinary fairy cake size cases, but it doesn't seem to matter.
Then the kids decided to get inside our bench seat thing (has a space under the seat to put stuff) (they're a bit daft sometimes!)...
These are some knotty cord necklaces that I've made to order this week, so hope Liz likes them
And this is my DT make for the Jewellery Challenge which this week is to make something sparkly using faceted beads.

I've made this card for today's Sketch Saturday Challenge. I'm determined to get some crafting done today, and I'm quite pleased with this first effort. Inks used: rose red, cameo coral, certainly celery (SU)
Colouring method: stamped
Cardstock used: SU designer paper

One card, 3 challenges!!
Wow - would you believe it ... I've managed to come up with 2 cards today! And, I've had a good sort out in my craft room, too!! Anyway, this card has been made for 3 challenges ... Penny Black Saturday Challenge, BasicGrey Challenges and Papertake Weekly. The penny black challenge is a recipe - you have to use 3 brads, 2 ribbons and 1 flower. The basicgrey challenge is a sketch, and the papertake challenge is Hot Chocolate - Pink, Orange and Brown. At first I used a small flower, but then I changed my mind and made it a big one - what do you think!!?
I've just realised (whilst putting my comment on the basicgrey challenge blog) that they don't want you to combine challenges - ooops, too late now - sorry!!
Stamps used: Penny Black
Inks used: brown stazon
Colouring method: prismacolour pencils and sansodor
Cardstock used: basicgrey sultry
Other Embellishments: 3 brads, 2 pieces of Stampin' Up Ribbon and 1 fabric flower (with a gem)!
Tools: creative memories circle cutter, cuttlebug embossing folder, sizzix corners, nesties

My card is a bit rushed, but there you go - at least I tried!!
