Friday Sketchers Challenge

Here's my entry for this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge. I decided to alter a notebook rather than make a card, using some Simply Elegant Papers, a magnolia watercoloured image, some ribbon fibres and flowers and brads.

Penny Black Challenge 5 - Sketch

This card has been made for the Penny Black Challenge, which this week is to use a sketch (on their blog). I used the Simply Elegant papers, along with the stamped image from PB with chalked edges, a sizzix corner covered in dazzling diamonds (SU) and a flower from Flora Doodles, which are absolutely gorgeous! (I got them from Joanna Sheen).

SBS18 Challenge #6 - Lilac

This is a card I managed to make while in sunny France. I'm not too sure about it myself, but with limited resources and time, it was the best I could come up with. I made the stamped image 3d, layering it 3 times, and it is dangling on the ribbon, which obviously doesn't really show in the picture. I just wanted to try my new spring card template!
Luckily, it also fits in with the SBS18 challenge #6, being that it's lilac!!!

Simply Elegant 40th Card

Another card made using Simply Elegant products. It's for a friend's 40th birthday this weekend. Is it looking elegant enough!!???
Oh, I forgot to mention - the greeting has been embossed with chocolate scented embossing powder so it also smells rather nice!!!
