Crafty Creations, Sketch Saturday and Jewellery Challenges

Well, I finally managed to get into my craft room - my Crafty Creations DT duties finally got the better of me, so thought it best to make an entry for this weeks challenge which is "Purple". I also used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Todays makes

I've made this card for this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge.
Stamps used: papermania, stampin' up
Inks used: not quite navy (SU) & black stazon
Colouring method: watercolour pencils & chalks
Cardstock used: misc
Other Embellishments: twine (stampin' up)
Tools: cropadile (to make holes for twine), creative memories circle cutters, guillotine etc
And this jewellery is for this weeks Jewellery Challenge which has a new challenge today which is "white".

Jewellery Challenge - Buttons

Here are a couple of makes that I made for this fortnights Jewellery Challenge. The challenge is to use buttons. The bracelet I saw on
Chick's Creations, so thought I'd make something similar...

I can't believe the snow came back on thursday - this was the view from our window on thursday morning...

We've been busy today - I bought a muffin book the other day (I've never made one before), and this book is just EXCELLENT! We made apricot and marzipan muffins, then they were so scrummy we then decided to make banoffee ones too. They were so nice, and we made so many that we decided to take some to our next door neighbour who's been a bit under the weather this week. She was so pleased - said it made her day, it was so nice to share the yummy muffins around! There are so many gorgeous recipes in this book - well worth getting!!! The only thing I'm lacking is a muffin tin and cases, so had to use ordinary fairy cake size cases, but it doesn't seem to matter.

Then the kids decided to get inside our bench seat thing (has a space under the seat to put stuff) (they're a bit daft sometimes!)...

These are some knotty cord necklaces that I've made to order this week, so hope Liz likes them

And this is my DT make for the Jewellery Challenge which this week is to make something sparkly using faceted beads.

Jewellery Challenge

Here's my DT make for the next challenge on the Jewellery Challenge blog. The challenge this week is to use home-made beads, so I've made some liquorice allsorts out of fimo, and made a charm bracelet out of them!! Just a bit of fun, hope you like it!!
