Just Magnolia & wall update!

This card was made using the sketch from the Just Magnolia blog. Again, I sorted out my stamps and discovered just how many magnolia stamps that I have!! (oops!!) Anyway, here's my entry for this weeks challenge...

Oh, and here's an update on the wall that I started 2 weeks ago .... I'm not going to take it any higher, but I will be planting things to grow out of the top of it - watch this space!!!

Tilda & Co Challenge Blog #31 Christmas is Coming

Another card tonight - I'm on a roll!! seems a shame to have to go to bed, wish I could stay up and craft all night tonight, but I know I'd be a wreck tomorrow when the kids wake me up at 6.30! Well, they try and wake me up! So I made this using another stamped RAK, along with papers from last year, I found some glitter from my daughters make up kit (!?) so used that as well. The banner across the middle says Happy Holidays, but the photo hasn't come out very well. I'm quite pleased with it, though!

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge - Beads

Here's my entry for this weeks Tilda ATC challenge, which this week was to incorporate beads. I coloured my atc base with some shimmery paints (similar to Twinkling H2Os, but the cheaper alternative!!), then decided to colour the tilda with the same paints. I wasn't quite sure how it would turn out, but I was very pleased with the results, and it's all lovely and shimmery, but I don't think it has come out on the photo. I then replaced the "sea" with beads. Meanwhile, my little girl is now making a similar effort - I'll post hers shortly!!! Watch this space ...

Right, here's Bryony's (age 5), and I think she may have done a better job than I did! She stuck beads on to the skirt (as you can see, the glue's still wet!!), and I helped her to make a lollipop out of a larger bead and wire. She coloured the image and the background with the twinkly paints.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenges * Buttons *

I had a really nice package in the post this morning, a whole load of stamped images from Satu-Maria - thanks so much!!
So I could wait to use them straight away to make an atc for this weeks Tilda ATC challenge.

Tilda & Co Challenge ~*~ 29~*~ It's a Bugs Life!

This card has been made for the Tilda & Co challenge which this week is "It's a Bugs Life!". I also had to make a thanks for lending me your book card, so thought I'd combine the two, seeing as though I'd bought 2 new stamps especially!! Again, very simple - used paper from stash that I've been meaning to use for ages but it just sits there doing nothing ... and my new stamps, watercoloured, along with a bug - just for the challenge!! and a SU stamped greeting. Very simple, but it fits the bill(s)!!

Tilda & Co - Distressed Tilda~*~ 28 ~*~

Here's my entry for this weeks tilda & co challenge which was to make a distressed tilda! I used tilda with the wall stamp, watercoloured, with vellum, papermania paper (again - am trying to use it!!) and black paper with brads, stamped greeting and punched flowers. Is she looking distressed enough??!!

Tilda & Co "~*~ 27 ~*~ Thinking of Others

I really enjoyed making this "box in a bag" with shrink plastic tilda and some ribbons, jems and tag. I was following instructions, but I didn't have the cutter for the tag thing at the top, so this is made "freehand" so to speak!!
My daughter is going to give it to her teacher at the end of term, and we'll probably fill it with some sweets or something for her.

This card, made using my new Basic Grey papers, some ribbon, brads, flowers, and of course a magnolia stamp - thanks to Vicky for that one!! Coloured using my tombow pens, and with clear glitter glue added to her dress for extra sparkle!

These have got to be some of my favourite colours - burgundy.

Tilda & Co ~*~ 25 ~*~ We gone Dottie...

I made this card for the going dottie challenge using some dotty paper that I got free with a magazine! I'm not too sure about the end result - maybe a bit rushed (again), but on the whole I think its OK!

Magnolia Challenge ~*~ 22 ~*~ None Card Week!

I was determined to do this challenge - a great excuse to get my beads out (again) and combine them with shrink plastic! The only thing I find hard with Magnolia challenges is that I only have 2 stamps - ahhh!!

Tilda & Co beaded card

this is a very quick and simple card, after a vodka (should I admit to that!!??), I received my very first batch of magnolia stamps through the post yesterday and am loving using them, so are my two children (good for them, not for me!!!). Hope you like it ...
