I also made this card in an attempt to make a 40th card (in fact all of these started life as a 40th card, but I just couldn't get them right...)
but this is the one I ended up turning into a 40th using the Just Beachy stamps from SU!

Papertake Weekly & Secret Crafter
I've made a card for my little boy who's 6 today (yes, I've only just made his card - bad mummy!!), and I used the inspiration from this weeks blog challenge over on - Papertake Weekly which is "to Die for"

and here's a pic of him first thing this morning...

and this is another card, made for his friend who had his birthday last week and I used the blog challenge over on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which this week is dust off your stash. I rummaged around through some old magazine freebies and found this fab star background paper!

Sketch Saturday, Papertake & BasicGrey Challenges
I've made this card using the sketch from Sketch Saturday, the challenge from BasicGrey Challenges and Papertake Weekly which are both the same this week - that is to use hearts on your card.
I used Stampin Up Best Bots Forever stamps, along with basicgrey cardstock - Lollipop shoppe and black tie, and my new circle nesties - I don't know why I didn't get them a long time ago - they certainly make life easier when cutting circles!

A Spoon full of sugar
I stumbled across a blog that I found really inspiring, so I decided to try "casing" a card. This is the blog...It's All About Stamping
I really hope that Wendy doesn't mind me copying her style...
This card also is entry for this weeks challenge over on A Spoon Full of Sugar which is "Thank you cards".
please excuse the wonky pierced dots along the top and bottom!

A great tip for your Hamster cage...
I just thought I'd share this snippet of useful information... my daughter got herself a hamster for christmas, and someone told her that if you put a jam jar inside the cage, the hamster will wee in it! What a brilliant tip - I did just this (I was very sceptical, mind!), and low and behold, the hamster does wee in the jam jar which means that it can be cleaned out every day or two (just the jam jar), so the cage doesn't smell (as they tend to do after a day or two, usually). So, thanks to the person who told her this (not sure who it was - some lady we met at a wedding on New Years Eve), and if you have a hamster... try it... it works!!!
Sketch Saturday
I've finally found some more inspiration to make 2 more cards - yippee!! (It's been lacking for some time now!) Anyway, they have been made using the sketch from Sketch Saturday, and now I can't wait to get back down there and make some more!!!
