Cuttlebug and SC203 challenges
I've made two cards, the first is for Challenge SC203 over on SCS and the second card is for Cuttlebug Challenge which is one that I've not entered before. The cuttlebug challenge is to use crayon resist technique where you emboss a piece of card, then go over it with crayon and then use ink over that (I think!). I then used my embossing pen to just silver emboss the single bird!
For the first card I used my sanded stamp to make the backing piece, then embossed a piece of darker with the swiss dots. I used the tree for all seasons, embellished with some glitter glue.
Stamps used: A tree for all seasons, sanded
Inks used: close to cocoa, bashful blue
Colouring method: crayon resist
Cardstock used: bashful blue and dark blue, and tim holtz distress inks
Other Embellishments: cuttlebug die slider, embossed with UTEE
Labels:
Christmas,
Cuttlebug,
Splitcoast

These are gorgeous cards! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. I can't wait to get my cuttlebug and use it at Christmas :)
Great use of the resist technique. I especially like how you made the one bird silver. Great job.
